As a seasoned mental health professional with +10 years of experience, I possess a unique blend of clinical expertise and leadership skills. My career has taken me through various settings, including residential level II facilities, inpatient units, and crisis centers.

I began my journey working with older adults, providing individual and group counseling to address their specific needs. Expanding my scope, I also worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults, tailoring my approach to each population’s unique requirements.

In a federal prison setting, I supported individuals transitioning back into the community through individual and group therapy sessions. This experience not only deepened my understanding of reentry challenges but also fostered resilience and determination in those I worked with.

As Director of the Crisis Assessment Unit at Dade County, I oversaw assessments and treatment for individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. Later, as Director of the Mobile Response Team, I collaborated with law enforcement to provide clinical guidance and support during high-stress situations.

Throughout my career, I have worked with a range of mental health concerns, from mild to severe disorders, and substance abuse issues. My passion lies in empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, resilience, and hope.

Today, I am committed to providing compassionate, non-judgmental counseling services that foster personal growth, self-awareness, and empowerment.
